Soapnut is 100% natural berries from the soapnut trees in Nepal.
Can be used as laundry detergent, shampoo and bath soap, pet shampoo, dish wash, car wash and general household cleaning agent.
Mild on all surface. Cleans effectively. Contains natural surfactant that cuts through grease and dirt.
How to use it?
- Put 4-6 berries into a muslin bag or old socks. Tie securely. Place into washing machine with the rest of your laundry. After the spin cycle, remove and line dry pouch. Re-use pouch for 2 or 3 more loads before discarding berries.
- Boil 10-15 chopped berries with 6-7 cups of water for 60 minutes. Pour 50ml of soapnut water into washing machine for each full laundry load. Store rest of liquid in sterilised glass bottle. Refrigerate and use within 2 weeks.
- Blend berries in a coffee grinder till finely chopped. Use 3 tablespoonful for a full load of laundry. Store in air-tight container, away from direct sunlight or heat.
